There is a solution to every problem. Nothing is insolvable. Nothing.
Do everything that you can to avoid the temptation of thinking that what is
facing you now is insurmountable. That is simply not true.
You cannot see the solution, of course, if you are
convinced it is not there. ~Neale Donald Walsch~
My dearest friends, many of you I know personally and many of you have come though various channels, however all of you are a part of a community call Coaching Inspirations and I thank you for being here.
It has been a couple of months since I have written a Newsletter and I wonder if any of you have been in a maze, a place of uncertainty a place of fear at times. I know I have. However, what I realized is that this has been a place of transformation, a time when we have had to step back and go within. Can anyone relate?
This has been a time when we needed to connect with parts of ourselves that we may not have visited for a long time or even knew existed. Places where courage, strength, faith and conviction reside. And now there is a dawning of a new day.
Whatever your choice was for this election it was a choice that you made. You stood for what you believed and it was victorious. There were no looser here because there was a power of conviction that permeated this planet. As a United States we were being watched by the world and once again we have shown that no matter what comes our way we can rise to the occasion and stand strong. We are movers and shakers.
Here we are, November, 2008, the month we traditionally select to give thanks. So let's look at the many blessings we have today and be grateful. "The land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE", yes we have all been brave! It is for this freedom that I am truly grateful. With this freedom that we have been gifted, we can choose the direction we want our lives to move towards. No matter what your direction, know that all things are possible.
Our year began with many intentions and goals, and then we were side tracked in very dramatic ways. But when we look at our lives how often do we side track ourselves when we have set intentions and goals?
This year has been an incredible year for me. I had several close friends and relatives die and so I am grateful for being here to write this newsletter in good health. A long time dream was realized, I co-author a book along with 40 amazing women,
"Wake Up Women, Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy", I also was asked to write a book review for a very dear friend
"The 7 Laws of Raising Financially Independent Kids" by Kasey J. Claytor, a must read, especially if you have children, I was a guest speaker on several talk shows, a guest speaker at numerous events and churches and after 19 years of living in Florida I move to the beautiful mountains of Georgia.
In letting go of material things I had accumulated over the years (that's the positive side of moving) I came across journal writings dating back to 1977. There was one goal in particular that I wanted to obtain for several years but never worked toward fulfilling that goal. That struck a cord; this was something I longed to accomplish just for myself, a goal that only I could feel good about with no momentary gain and so it went by the wayside.
How about you, what is one goal or intention that you have had for yourself that has not been realized? Now is the time, make the choice, nothing is impossible.
Moving is a metaphor for my life at the present time. I needed to move out of certain thought processes, move out of old beliefs, move out of limiting beliefs and move out of old states of being.
What in your life do you need to move away from and move towards? What goal can you embrace?
Now is the time and here are a few steps that may be of support in your moving process.
1.
Decision. Decide today to reconnect to that one goal/intention that is something just for you. Make a commit to begin now to work towards that goal. Clarity is the key.
2.
Support. One thing that was clear during this election. Support helps us to achieve our goals. Together we can accomplish anything. Join a group of like minded individuals, hire a coach. Reconnect with old friends and meet on a regular basis.
3.
Keep the focus. It is easier to focus on one intention and put all your energy into it. Once you have accomplished that goal you can move on to the next.
4.
Progress not perfection. No matter what obstacle comes your way the end results is what you are moving towards.
5.
Record. Keep a journal so that you can see your progress as well as patterns. If you do not like to write purchase a recorder. Either way you will have something that helps you document where you have been, where you are going and what you have accomplished.
6.
Watch your thoughts. Our thoughts can either encourage us or sabotage us. So be mindful of what you mentally digest daily. What you think you believe and what you believe you manifest in your life.
7.
Be still and let go. Spend quiet time with yourself and reflect daily on what you are grateful for. When we are in a state of gratitude many wonderful things manifest in our lives. Then let go and allow your good to come into your life.
