GHCSL Young Adults have a box in Sparks' Hall all year long for donations to the Food Closet for families in need.
They will make sure your nonperishible food items and school supplies get to the distribution center.

Joseph Campbell was perhaps the greatest thinker of the 20th Century in the areas of mythology and religion. He championed the individualistic nature of human beings and urged all to "follow their bliss" - to find their true spiritual heritage and to express it in a fulfilling human life, while being their own counsel. He is a true transcendentalist in the linage of Emerson and Thoreau.
Joseph Campbell studied with Fenwicke Holmes in 1926 and was introduced to The Science of Mind. Join us for this fascinating study of a man who knew that Bliss is the Journey and the gift. The class is about: Living in the World, Coming into Awareness, and Living in the Sacred. | |

The Enneagram workshop is such a treat! And what a nice combination with two such different teachers, who approach the subject from different points of view!
Pamela Hartman Haas (business point-of-view) and Rev. Jeanne Hoffman (spiritual p-o-v) gave me food for thought in ways I could have never imagined before this workshop.
Their way of teaching helped me uncover my core motivation and my strengths.
They also pointed out that my greatest strength is likely to become my most serious flaw! Wow! Through different exercises they helped me to dig deep into myself. I learned so much more about who I am, how diverse I am, and more importantly... how I function and where my strenghts and weaknesses are.
As human beings, we are not right or wrong. We just see things from different perspectives. This became very clear during this workshop. As the Talmud says: "We don't see things as they are - we see things as we are."
If you are curious and want to learn more about yourself, what motivates you, and how you can utilize your strengths and work on your weaknesses, then you need to take this workshop! The Enneagram is a great tool for transformation! Thank you for a mind-awakening workshop! Agneta Bylund

The Granada Hills Street Faire is a fun day for us here at GHCRS because the parade goes right by the front door down Chatsworth Street!
To participate with the activities of the day, so if you wish to participate in the fun, please sign up in Sparks'Hall. In addition to the used metaphysical book sale, we will be handing out information about our Center and answering questions about Science of Mind.
Please bring your donated used metaphysical books to the office the week before the Faire.
