 Our Beloved Pat Porter made her transition this morning, December 30, 2008. We are holding her family and friends in much Love. She'll be so greatly missed here at the Center.
We will have information on
her Memorial Service soon.
Long time member of GHCSL Aase Jorgensen made her transition Friday, December 12.
The memorial celebration will be held Tuesday, December 30 at 7pm here at the center.

Long time friend of Rev. Maureen and GHCSL Jolane Dickey left this plane of consciousness on Wednesday, December 10.
Her memorial celebration will be January 10 at the Simi Valley Center for Spiritual Living at 12 noon.

Aase made an unexpected departure from this plane of consciousness on Friday, December 19, 2008. She leaves behind family and friends who loved her deeply and who wish to share their love of her by singing her home. Please join us in celebrating her life in remembrances and music with a cookie reception following in Sparks' Hall.
Donations may be made to the Granada Hills Center for Spiritual Living in her name. Please note: Checks may be made payable to GHCSL.
No Flowers please, by request.

Institute of Noetic Sciences comes to GHCSL
Beginning this Saturday, January 3, IONS will meet here on the first Saturday of each month from 10am til 4pm.
 This Saturday, January 3, our speaker is Elaine McBroom, M.A., C.Ht. Her topic for the day is, The Questions for Personal Freedom, How to Finally Love Yourself
Elaine has a M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She is a Personal Empowerment Life Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, NLP Master, EFT Master and Grief Recovery Specialist.
For over 10 years, she has been helping people successfully create a life they love by discovering their resources, inner power, and fulfilling their heartfelt dreams. You will learn:
- How you are living your life from rules created in your childhood
- How those rules have been the basis for how you treat yourself and others.
- How to discover these rules, and how they have been running your life.
- How to change the rules.
- How to get the self love you really want!

2009 Board of Trustees Slate
This is to notify the card carrying members of our Annual Membership Meeting on Sunday, February 1, 2009 immediately following the 10:30 AM service.
As a voting member of this center, you are invited to be there to vote in our new slate of Board members, and to hear the business and vision of this center for 2009. Under our by-laws, we are required to post the slate in advance.
Barbara Harrison and Mary Ann Lockhart are up for election for a 2-year term and Jeannie Hoffman is up for re-election to a 3-year term.
For your information, Linnaea Mallette, David Marin, and Mary Milbrand are coming on as non-voting adjunct members.
