Sharon Ryan and Steve Kemp, both GSMA
employees, admire the new map.
An amazing state-of-the-art map of Great Smoky
Mountains National Park commisioned by GSMA has
just been completed.
This topographic model was made by combining
satellite imagery, computer modeling, advanced laser
technology, and digital photography.
Produced in 3-D, the map shows the entire park and is
so detailed you can see the runways at McGhee Tyson
airport, the fairways on local golfcourses, and the roof of
the Lodge on Mt. Le Conte.
To enjoy the map, visit our Sevierville Visitor Center
store on Highway 66, 1.25 miles from Interstate 40, Exit
407. We're sharing a new building with the Friends of
the Smokies and the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
