Dear ,

Networking nightThank you to those who attended this week's Leadership Networking Night at R2L. It was a great evening to celebrate the halfway mark of Leadership Class. You have already raised more than $60,000 and the class goal is within our reach. Special thanks to R2L for donating their space for the reception.

As we approach the September 30 fundraising deadline, consider following up with the people who you asked for a donation but have not yet made a contribution. As we all know, summer is a busy time and emails are often pushed to the bottom of the inbox. Consider sending out reminder emails this month and next month with the deadline included.  Reminder phone calls and conversations also help.

Happy hour benefiting Evan SolomonHere are some other ways fellow honorees are raising funds:
 >Utilizing the email formats on their fundraising page to reach out to contacts
 >Mailing fundraising letters to their friends and family
 >Hosting happy hours, beef and beers and restaurant benefit nights
 >Organizing auctions and raffles
 >Promoting matching gift programs to double donations

Don't forget, we have many fundraising tools available to you. We recently posted flyers you can customize to promote your fundraising events or for companies to show their MS sponsorship.

If you are collecting money offline, please send your checks to us along with the check tracking form (pdf) to our new office at National MS Society, Attn: Leadership Class, 30 S. 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

We're here to help you. Please feel free to contact us any time by email or by calling 215-271-1500. We appreciate your effort and look forward to celebrating your success in October.

Sincerely,
Kristina McGraw
