Patients must fit the following criteria for admission to PCU with the Mild DKA:

-Arterial pH ≥ 7.15 or Serum Bicarb (CO2) ≥ 12
-Serum Ketones + MAP ≥ 65 Serum K+ ≥ 3.0
-Mental Status Alert

To locate the order in Cerner: from Menu, go to Orders and click +Add; in search box type in insulin, Choose Insulin Diabetic Ketoacidosis Mild DKA PCU

This order may be modified and saved in favorites.

The influenza vaccination program begins at Sharp Healthcare on September 26. LVN vaccine roamers will be available on the units for convenient vaccination. The roamers will be in the doctor's dining room from 12pm-1pm Monday through Friday from October 10 until the 28.

New this year, the Verification(attestation) or Declination forms will be on line at http://sharpnet/flu. All licensed independent practitioners are required to complete a Verification or Declination form unless you receive the vaccine from a Sharp LVN roamer or through Employee Occupational Health Department (EOHD).
