Got a question or a gripe about the Electronic Medical Record System? How about a suggestion? No, it's not going away and the only way it can be improved is with feedback from you. Here's your chance.

The first monthly Sharp Healthcare Physician Advisory Group meeting will be held July 19 at noon. You can attend from your home, office or hospital by logging in to an Adobe Connect session. No software is required. Log in details are included below.

There will also be "meeting clusters" logging in from each Sharp hospital and they will be staffed by someone from the informatics team. The SGH meeting cluster will be held in the Administration Conference Room. In addition to getting feedback, we will discuss the logistics of future meetings.

To log in from your office, home, etc go to https://connect.sharp.com/ebmc. Look for the audio icon, click on it and select Receive a Call. Enter your phone number and we call you back.

The campaign has ended and, thanks to the generosity of our medical staff members, the SGH Medical Staff will donate 165+ fully-loaded, first-day-of-school backpacks to those children in La Mesa who do not have resources to purchase their own supplies!
