  • Hints to Avoid Suspension for Delinquent Medical Records

    A quote from Rina Jain MD, Chief of Staff, "The dog ate my email reminder" is not a valid excuse for being taken off suspension.

    1. If you plan to be away on vacation, please notify the Medical Records Department - 619-740-4029. Please do it early - don't wait till the last moment or you may forget!
    2. It would also be a good idea to complete your charts PRIOR to going on vacation.
    3. Please ensure that Medical Staff Services - 619-740-4145 - has a valid email address and phone contact so that you will receive messages in a timely manner.
