| NBC News to Highlight Sevick Service Project |

On behalf of the SGH Medical Staff, on August 30 Dr. William Friedel, Chair of the Happiness Committee, presented the staff at Sevick School with over $2250 worth of adaptive learning equipment for preschoolers with special needs. This was made possible as a result of the generosity of medical staff members who made pledges for this service project. Dr. Friedel's interview will air on NBC's 4 pm broadcast on Friday, September 3.

The 2010 SGH Medical Staff Holiday Party is just around the corner! Please be sure your calendar is marked for Tuesday, December 7, 6 pm, at the Mission Valley Marriott.

We're forming the Medical Staff Choir who will perform under the direction of Plowden Bridges, MD. Rehearsals will be held at the hospital and will begin soon!
