  • First Touch Quick Tips

  • The First Touch process ensures that your time with patients is meaningtul, increases satisfaction, and reduces patient anxiety.

    1. Be ready to draw pictures when giving information and explanations.
    2. Touch patients in a kind and gentle way. Be especially aware of this during clinical procedures.
    3. Before you get up to leave or move to the door, ask patients and their families if they have questions.
    4. Say "goodbye" and shake their hand, if appropriate.

  • 2010 SGH Medical Staff Community Service Project
  • Today officially ends this campaign (but, of course, we will continue to accept donations! You can send a check to Medical Staff Services.)

Total Pledges to Date = $2,150!

The pledges will be used to help some special El Cajon kids - preschoolers with special needs for adaptive learning equipment at Sevick School!

Special thanks to Dr. Robert Foster's wife, Camille, who's co-chairing this project. That's Camille in the photo above!
