Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% 50 meq/50ml pre-loaded syringes are on back order. No release date has been given, but the pharmacy expects an update from the manufacturer on Friday, March 5.

The pharmacy currently has 25 on the shelf and a pretty good inventory in the various Pyxis machines. When the supply is exhausted, the pharmaacy will use the 50ml vials.

The pharmacy has almost no Propofol in stock.

Initially, Cardinal was giving a daily allocation of Propofol, but now it has been changed to a weekly allocation:

The next General Medical Staff Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 17 (not Tuesday, March 16).

It's going to be a special program! Doctor Matt Iseman (an MD trained at Princeton and Columbia who then became a stand-up comedian) will entertain the medical staff.

And, Dr. Bill Pogue will be "clowning around."

The show will start at 6 pm, but wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 5:30 pm.
