Just a reminder...

It may be a good idea to check your group's process for leaving messages on patients answering machines. It may seem so easy to leave a very detailed message for your patient, but what happens if someone else retrieves the messages from the answering machine?


Some physicians have implemented a policy whereby they specifically ask each patient if a detailed message can be left on the answering machine or not. That information is documented in the patient's chart. If the patient gives permission, there is no problem. Otherwise, the message left should be a bit more vague with a callback number.

The next General Medical Staff Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 17 (not Tuesday, March 16).

It's going to be a special program! Doctor Matt Iseman (an MD trained at Princeton and Columbia who then became a stand-up comedian) will entertain the medical staff.

And, Dr. Bill Pogue will be "clowning around."

The show will start at 6 pm, but wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 5:30 pm.

Friday, February 12, 2010 - Main Auditorium - 6 pm
Wine and hors d'ouevres - 5:30 pm - $10 per person

Professional dance instructors will be here to teach you and your guest some basic ballroom steps!

Don't have a guest? Don't worry! We'll be sure everyone has a partner!
