"no
smoking" facility and campus.
There should be
no exceptions.
Therefore, it would seem inappropriate to write an
order permitting an inpatient to go outside to smoke.
In fact, this would be a good oppporutnity to remind the
patient again of the dangers he/she faces by
continuing this habit.
