The E-Bulletin editorial team recently became aware
that spam protection tools in the Sharp.com e-mail
function were blocking the E-Bulletins. The problem
has been resolved! We appreciate the help from the
Sharp Information Systems team!

| Relocation of ED Observation Unit |
| |
To provide better service
for outpatients, the ED Observation Unit (currently
located on Level A) is moving to 2 South, the old MICU
area, on November 20 at approximately 10
AM.
The new Observation Unit will have 12 monitored
beds. The unit will take all 23-hour observation
patients from the ER, ACC and direct admits.
The phone numbers for the Observation Unit will
remain the same. The overhead page for emergency
calls, i.e., Rapid Response, Code Blue, etc. will be "2
South Observation Unit".
The staff and physicians are looking forward to
providing care in this enhanced environment.
