    AstraZeneca has decided to discontinue manufacturing and distribution of Atenolol (Tenormin®) IV. If ordered, Pharmacy will notify the prescriber asking that another formulary alternative be used (e.g. Metoprolol (Lopressor®), Esmolol (Brevibloc®) or Propranolol (Inderal)). We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
