County to vote on Clayton Valley charter proposal tomorrow night
| | College Park parents are urged to attend the Contra Costa County Office of Education's board meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday, January 11 at 5:30 in the multi-use room at Pleasant Hill Elementary. At this meeting, the board is expected to vote whether to approve or deny Clayton Valley High School's charter petition. The charter, if approved, will have significant financial consequences for College Park and every other school in the district. Parents are asked to become familiar with the issues and attend the meeting, as it is critically important that the board receive input from parents from across the district. The charter petition was denied by the MDUSD board in November and then appealed to the Contra Costa Office of Education. For more information, contact Matt Lovett or Mary Gray.

CP Web store shut down during transition
| | The College Park Web store has been shut down as we are moving to a new site. Web store purchases are currently unavailable and so all financial transactions will need to take place in the Treasurer's Office in Student Services North.
Please be patient as we move to a new, integrated system which will improve your ability to pay for anything your student needs at College Park. We are hoping to have the new Web store up and running by next week; thank you for your patience.

Students planning on summer classes need to plan ahead
| | |
Students choosing to take classes for enrichment or credit during the summer at Diablo Valley College, Los Medanos or De Anza need to make sure they have spoken to their school administrators and have district concurrent enrollment forms approved by their school administrators prior to June 14, 2012. Forms are available in the school office.
Don't risk foregoing a course this summer because you did not get your form approved in time. The last day an administrator will be available to approve your concurrent enrollment is June 14, 2012.
