Choir alumni wanted for Homecoming

The CPHS Concert Choir will be singing the national anthem for the homecoming football game against Clayton Valley on Friday, Oct. 14.
All past members of the choir are invited to join in. Alumni are asked to attend a quick run-through of the four-part arrangement of the anthem at 5:30pm in the choir room on October 14. Please spread the word to all choir alumni, and email Mr. Rockwell at rockwellb@mdusd.org if you are interested in participating.

Peer Tutoring
| | Are you interested in being a peer tutor in the College Park peer-tutoring program? Come pick up an application in Student Services North!
Applications are due Friday, October 14 to Student Services North and there will be a tutor orientation on Tuesday, October 18 after school.

UC Night

The Chevron essay contest has just come in; the first prize is $5,000! Deadlines come and go so check regularly. The deadline for the Chevron scholarship is Monday, December 19.

Fuel Your School
| | This year, throughout October, when anyone fuels up with 8 or more gallons at a participating Chevron or Texaco station, Chevron will donate $1, up to $1 million, to help fund projects for public schools in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
