Mock SAT & ACT tomorrow

There will be a mock SAT and a mock ACT test tomorrow, Sat., September 10. Students should arrive at 8:45am, bringing pencils, a calculator and snacks. The test takes about 4 hours. Walk-ins are welcome; the cost is just $15.

| | CPHS will once again be participating in Pleasant Hill's Annual Community Service Day. There are many school improvement projects slated to take place that day including work in our organic garden, baseball field andASB leadership projects.

Seniors, take advantage of a fabulous opportunity to get valuable help with your college applications. We are offering two workshops, one on the essay and one on the application process. In the essay workshop you will: · learn what colleges are looking for in the essay
· discover great essay topipcs therough brainstorming exercises · get insider tips for strengthening your writing skills · start at least one essay and receive feedback on your topic choice In the application workshop you will: · learn how to strategically list your extra-curricular activities by completing the Activities and Awards section of both the Common App and the UC App · edit descriptions of the of activities and service work to fit the application space while conveying all the key info you need to give the colleges Where? | | Applications for the College Park chapter of the California Scholarship Federation are available in the Main Office. Fill out the application (please read the instructions!), attach a copy of your June 2011 report card and $5 dues, and turn it in to the Treasurer's Office.
