Twitter has announced their first promoted tweets,
allowing sponsors to advertise. Starbucks, Best Buy
and
Virgin America have already signed up to reach
consumers during this test period. Twitter will be
watching carefully to see how consumers react to
determine whether to expand the ads across the
board.
