  • Greetings!

We're wrapping up an eventful summer... crossing the country to speak and perform at conferences, conventions, and performing arts venues. And as fall approaches, so do holiday and year-end event planning. Please forward this newsletter to someone you know who is responsible for planning their group's year-end event!

This newsletter contains THREE important announcements of ways that I can help you and your organization. Please give them some consideration.

Thanks for your prayers, positive thoughts, phone calls and emails during the recent flooding in the Atlanta area. We were only minimally affected, but our area suffered major damage. We are grateful for your friendship and concern!

    October 17 Public Show
    Red Clay Theatre

By popular demand, JMT is back in Duluth for a repeat engagement!

The Red Clay Theatre has brought my one-man show back to their beautiful facility. Due to a tight schedule, this appearance is for one night only, Saturday October 17 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now for only $7 each - you can find out more about the show and purchase tickets online by clicking on the RCT's logo above.

Please tell your friends about the show! The 17th, at 7pm, for 7 dollars! To miss this show would be bad luck indeed!

    "This Is Atlanta" Television Interview
Corporate Magician Joe M. Turner - This Is Atlanta

Some of my local friends and I were featured in a recent televised documentary about magic in Atlanta.

A producer from Public Broadcasting Atlanta's award-winning show "This is Atlanta" attended a meeting of magicians earlier this year and shot some video for a proposed segment. After the meeting, the producer invited me and two other performers to participate in more indepth interviews and additional performance segments.

The finished product aired in Atlanta during July and August, but it is now available for viewing online. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The segment treats both the club and the art of magic with a wonderful combination of humor and respect.

3 Ways I Can Help You and Your Organization Prosper
    Corporate Magician Joe M. Turner

Because you are receiving this newsletter, I'm happy to announce that I'm making it possible for you to share in my success.

Too good to be true? Don't worry - this is no illusion. I'm simply taking a traditional show business model and applying it to you, my known clients and fans.

So... here's the scoop. I'm announcing three programs that will help put money in your pocket and drive traffic to your web site.

Take a look at the details of these programs:

    1. Preferred Customer Referrals - Earn Commissions Through Your Referrals
Starting today, any show or speaking engagement that I book through the end of this year that is directly generated by your referral earns you a 15% commission. You make the connection, you share in the result. This means you have the possibility of earning several hundred dollars between now and December... just in time for the holidays! Both you and the referred client must give me each other's names and mention the Preferred Customer Referral program. Upon payment of the final invoice, I send you a check for 15% of my fee for that presentation or performance.

So... do you know a company, association, or other group who is planning a holiday party or an upcoming conference? Even if the event isn't until next year -- if I am booked before December 31, you are eligible to participate in this program.

    2. Complementary Services Directory - Online Link Exchange
I am putting together an online compendium of conference and event-related service providers. If you provide a non-competing* service for meetings, banquets, trade shows, and other such events, I'd like to exchange web site links with you. Contact me immediately to get more information. (*See note below.)

    3. Fundraising Performance Program - Generating Operating Funds for Your Organization
For the past several years I have made private agreements with organizations - schools, church groups, community theaters, non-profit groups, etc. - to provide shows as part of their fundraising efforts. I am now opening that up for recommendations from my clients. Do you have a favorite school, church, charity, or other organization that is struggling to make ends meet? My program allows them to generate needed revenue with minimal effort. The program works like this: I provide the show and the promotional materials; they provide a venue, generate publicity, and sell tickets; and they receive at least half of the net proceeds. Contact me for more information.

    * NOTE: By the way -- while I will not be including other magic-wielding speakers and entertainers in this online list, I am always looking for quality magicians and entertainers to book for my clients when I am unavailable or when the event is large enough to require multiple performers. If you are interested in being on my "go to" list, contact me. I keep a list of trusted performers in multiple cities, so make sure I have your contact information!

    Social Networking Connections
