Greetings! We're wrapping up an eventful summer... crossing the country to speak and perform at conferences, conventions, and performing arts venues. And as fall approaches, so do holiday and year-end event planning. Please forward this newsletter to someone you know who is responsible for planning their group's year-end event! This newsletter contains THREE important announcements of ways that I can help you and your organization. Please give them some consideration. Thanks for your prayers, positive thoughts, phone calls and emails during the recent flooding in the Atlanta area. We were only minimally affected, but our area suffered major damage. We are grateful for your friendship and concern! ![]() Joe M. Turner
By popular demand, JMT is back in Duluth for a repeat engagement! The Red Clay Theatre has brought my one-man show back to their beautiful facility. Due to a tight schedule, this appearance is for one night only, Saturday October 17 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now for only $7 each - you can find out more about the show and purchase tickets online by clicking on the RCT's logo above. Please tell your friends about the show! The 17th, at 7pm, for 7 dollars! To miss this show would be bad luck indeed!
Some of my local friends and I were featured in a recent televised documentary about magic in Atlanta. A producer from Public Broadcasting Atlanta's award-winning show "This is Atlanta" attended a meeting of magicians earlier this year and shot some video for a proposed segment. After the meeting, the producer invited me and two other performers to participate in more indepth interviews and additional performance segments. The finished product aired in Atlanta during July and August, but it is now available for viewing online. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The segment treats both the club and the art of magic with a wonderful combination of humor and respect.

Because you are receiving this newsletter, I'm happy to announce that I'm making it possible for you to share in my success. Too good to be true? Don't worry - this is no illusion. I'm simply taking a traditional show business model and applying it to you, my known clients and fans. So... here's the scoop. I'm announcing three programs that will help put money in your pocket and drive traffic to your web site. Take a look at the details of these programs:
* NOTE: By the way -- while I will not be including other magic-wielding speakers and entertainers in this online list, I am always looking for quality magicians and entertainers to book for my clients when I am unavailable or when the event is large enough to require multiple performers. If you are interested in being on my "go to" list, contact me. I keep a list of trusted performers in multiple cities, so make sure I have your contact information!
There is simply no question that in addition to in-person networking, online social networking is becoming a vital part of how business is done today. As a result, I'm asking you to make sure to link to me or follow me from your own profiles on the following sites:
Please know that I respect your work, your time, and your connections -- and I won't abuse the privilege of being part of your network. Thanks!
