On November 10, I will present a new one-man show, Shenanigans, at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. There will be performances at 7:00 PM and again at 9:00 PM. This is an important event for several reasons. First, it is one of the rare occasions where my performance is open to the public. Most of my engagements are for private audiences at corporate meetings or private parties. Next, this performance is essentially a proof-of-concept for an ongoing show. Atlanta does not have an ongoing magic entertainment destination. The Grand Hyatt Atlanta is interested in an open-ended run of monthly shows -- or perhaps even more frequently -- if the concept can be shown to have profitability. Finally, an ongoing performance venue in Atlanta could lead to a number of additional opportunities for me personally. The hospitality industry in Atlanta is on the upswing. The Atlanta CVB is investing millions in promotion of the city. New attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium will bring millions of people to town. The High Museum of Art has reached an exclusive agreement with the Louvre Museum to display some of their holdings here in Atlanta. This is truly a city of opportunity, and the timing is right for another entertainment venture. I sincerely ask all of you to share the information about my show with your friends and colleagues -- anyone you know who enjoys live entertainment. If you or they have ever considered using me as an entertainer but were dissuaded by my fees for private appearances, this is a golden opportunity to enjoy a performance at a fraction of the cost.
