Dear Alumni, Friends, and Colleagues,
Please join us in congratulating the class of 2012, thirteen talented young men and women eager to make their mark on the Jewish community!

This year's graduating class knows first-hand the vicissitudes of contemporary life. They grew up in the shadows of 9/11 and experienced as young adults the economic meltdown of 2008.

Not only does Hornstein attract students from across the globe --next year we will have students from Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Australia--but international seminars are also an increasingly important part of the Program. This past winter, students participated in the annual Foster Seminar in Israel on Contemporary Jewish Life, and soon after, a group of second-years traveled to Ukraine. There, they studied resurgent Jewish life in the cities of Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk.
