District Calendar
The School Board adopted the 'Option A' calendar as the 2010-2011 District Calendar. The school year will start on Monday, August 23, 2010. Here are a few important dates:
  • November 22-26 - Thanksgiving Holiday
  • December 20-31 - Winter Holiday
  • March 14-18 - Spring Break
  • June 2 - Last Day of school
  • Download a printable PDF version
Earlier this month, the MISD community was invited to take part in a short survey to help determine next year's calendar. The survey calendar 'Option A' received 80% of the choice from over 4,100 people that participated. The approved calendar is essentially the current school year calendar with next year's dates applied to it. We hope this helps our District community in planning purposes. Visit the MISD Calendars page to get a printable version of the calendar.
