Dual Enrollment Changes for 2008-2009

c2Mansfield Independent School District, in conjunction with the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus, offers several courses for dual credit to MISD juniors and seniors.

Through this program, students receive high school and college credit for TCC courses taken and passed through the MISD.

The Dual Enrollment Program will see some changes next year:

  • Tuition per course will be $50.00 plus college fees
  • Tuition for students on Free/Reduced lunch will be $0
  • Textbooks will be provided by the district to all students and be the property of MISD.
  • Sociology, Psychology added to the TCC course selections
  • And More...

Intra-District Transfers 

In order to be considered, new transfer requests for the 2008-2009 school year must be received in the Office Student Services/Campus Support at 609 East Broad St. by April 1, 2008.

Dallas Stars Ticket Offer

Stars Ticket Promotion Come out and enjoy a special discount night and help the Education Foundation - $15 game tickets (regularly $40). $5.00 from each ticket sale will benefit the MISD Education Foundation.

Natatorium Swimming Programs

Begining March 3, the MISD Natatorium will offer new swimming programs:

Spring/Summer Swimming Lessons (ages 3 - 12)
Springboard Diving Basic Training (ages 7 - 18)
Swimming and Diving Teams (ages 7 - 18)

For adults: 
Morning aerobics classes
Evening lap swimming and lane walking
