Going Weekly

There's just too much going on throughout the region to cover in a monthly newsletter, so during the warm-weather months I'll be putting these out on a weekly basis.  I'll switch back to monthly during the slower parts of the season.

Featured Destination

Nauticus and Battleship Wisconsin

This city hosts celebrations throughout the year at the waterfront Town Point Park.

The not-to-be-missed event for this year is OpSail Virginia.  From June 6th to the 12th, a fleet of tall ships and military vessels will converge on Norfolk's waterfront.  The last time the city saw a gathering of ships like this was for OpSail 2000 and that was a spectacular sight.

OpSail Virginia will coincide with Norfolk's popular Harborfest event.
