 Did you know that 71% of small business owners say they are generating leads from social media? Or that 63% of those who use social media spend more than 30 minutes a day on social media.

We didn't know those facts until we conducted the 2011 Small Business Social Media Survey in which we asked 243 small business owners about their social media activities.

On a regular basis small business owners ask us if Social Media is worth spending time on.  Based on the results of our Survey the data points to a strong YES!

Business Owners Taking Control 

 

With more businesses able to draw a straight line from time spent to their bottom line, business owners are taking a more active role in social media.   More than 65% indicated they are actively engaged in creating content and few than 30% are relying on interns.
