Students' Work Shown

At Westport Playhouse

Tandayamo

Bridgeport resident and Housatonic Community College student Carolina Tandayamo (right) was one of 12 HCC students whose posters were displayed in the lobby of the Westport Country Playhouse  during a recent run of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. She was the only student who had the distinction of having two of her works selected for display. Here, she discusses one of her posters with HCC art professor Andy Pinto of Monroe.

HCC Invited To Join

White House Initiative

Housatonic is participating in the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, an initiative inviting institutions of higher education to commit to a year of interfaith and community service programming on campus. Housatonic's project focuses on health and healthy living, and includes a broad range of programs and activities to promote this among the diverse populations of the campus and community. The topic was selected because good health is something that spans religious boundaries and that people can come together to promote.
