Greetings!
Here we are into November and the Winter Sports season is underway. Time trials coming up for Biathlon, Sectionals for Figure Skating, first World Cups for Nordic and Alpine if the snow will cooperate in Europe, first Slopestyle event already off in London and the NHL well underway! It's crazy busy but an exciting time of the year. Here in Canmore, the Nordic center has created "Frozen Thunder" and this bit of snowy track will give our Nordic athletes the edge they need to start the season strong. This time of the year is often a time when athletes feel the pressure. Have I done enough, did I push enough, am I ready? The answer is YES! The hard work is done now you have to be mentally tough, trust your training, and go do what you are TRAINED to do. Keep in touch via Skype, Facebook, and Linked In.
Cheers, Jan

As a competitor you need to TRUST YOUR TRAINING! The competition is the time to go out and enjoy your sport - it is why you train to begin with. Read whole article
