This grant will help us provide 2,500 therapy sessions for injured military personnel and their families. Quantum Leap Farm is currently ranked 47 out of the over 1,100 charities competing. Quantum Leap Farm's new website launched
last week and we have to say a huge thank
you to Tom Nagy and his firm, Vivid Infusion. Tom worked his marketing magic and enlisted the services of Jeff Stanislow and Bay City Interactive, his high-end digital partner, to create an updated, digitally enhanced website to tell the story of Quantum Leap Farm and the great work that goes on here. Tom's passion for the Farm's mission and his respect for Edie Dopking, Mary Diana, and everyone else at the Farm inspired him to take on this project. This was truly a labor of love for him and for all the guys at Bay City Interactive, who went above and beyond to bring the new site to life. Thanks to all of you!!!

At E.A.S.E W.O.W Retreat
Quantum Leap Farm's At E.A.S.E. (Equine Assisted Self Exploration) program hosted its 4th W.O.W. (Women of Warriors) retreat January
15-16th, 2011. It was a wonderful weekend. The retreat focused on education, support and self exploration. The program was attended by Women of Warriors whose husbands' injuries included PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). These wonderful women came from as far away as Hawaii and California to attend and enjoy the beautiful sights and healing surroundings of Quantum Leap Farm. These women who serve our country by caring for our injured service-members come to us weary, exhausted and isolated. They leave rejuvenated, empowered and connected. The At E.A.S.E. W.O.W. retreat was in conjunction with SOCOM at MacDill AFB and sponsored by Operation Homefront. Hippotherapy at QLF!
"Hippo" is Latin for horse. "Hippotherapy" is a medical treatment strategy that utilizes the movement of the horse to facilitate progressive functional improvements in patients living with disability or those recovering from injury. Lynn Bankston, MPT, our licensed physical therapist, has recently started a hippotherapy practice at Quantum Leap Farm! Hippotherapy can benefit individuals with many types of orthopedic and neurological conditions. As Lynn is an out-of-network provider for many commercial insurance companies, treatments may be fully or partially reimbursed by your insurance company.
