WIF First Tuesdays Change to The Second Tuesday

Mark your calendars for next year, because WIF Seattle is shifting our long-standing tradition of First Tuesdays to The Second Tuesday of the month - and all for a very good cause.  Former President Virginia explains in the "And Now a Word" section of our website here.  For a full listing of our 2012 dates visit our Second Tuesday page here.

WIF Holiday Bash: Tuesday December 13

This year's holiday extravaganza will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13,  from 6:30 p.m. at The Grotto in The Rendezvous at 2322 Second Avenue downtown.

If you've ever been to our holiday party, you know you do NOT want to miss this shindig. Fun,  photos with Santa, white elephant gifts, elves, the whole shebang. Everyone welcome! For more details, visit our Second Tuesday page.

On the right:  one of hundreds of great photos taken at last year's  holiday party.

This month in our headlining web article, we feature the WIF-sponsored Post Alley Film Festival, curated by our own Virginia Bogert. This rockin' little female-centric film fest is coming to the SIFF Cinema at Seattle Center February 25 and is now accepting submissions.  So get yours in, then get your sweet self to the film fest because it is GOING TO BE GOOD.  Read all about it here

Speaking of unstoppable, we have another great story for you this month in our news features. WIF member Jeannine Glista had a dream and the drive to land it on national television - for five seasons. Read more about this Emmy- and Telly-award winning show and its creator on our website here

The Divine Marigolds: A Wee Bit of the Irish
Right Here in Seattle

The Divine Marigolds

WIF Professional Member Alder Sherwood and WIF Friend Lisa Coronado have exciting times ahead.  Their production company, Corwood Productions, has created a TV pilot about an Irish-American family that is winning both the hearts of viewers and competitions. The ladies not only have produced the show, but also star in it.  Learn more about their winning ways here. And don't forget to check out the sizzle reel for the show on our website here
