29 Years to the Glory of God!

 Collage 2

Last Sunday, Regina and I celebrated with GPBC our 29th anniversary!

Mark and Mary Gray were our guests and were mightily used of the Lord as we celebrated this special day together!

Brother Mark taught our Adults in Sunday School and ministered to us in song in both the Morning and Evening Services! It was a tremendous blessing to all of us!

Perhaps the greatest blessing was the souls that were saved and baptized to the glory of God!

As I reflect on all that God has done over the last 29 years, there is nothing that blesses and pleases our Lord any more than the salvation of souls! That is why we came and remains the reason that we have stayed!

I want to thank the Church family, the Deacons and my Staff for the gracious demonstration of your love and appreciation to me and my wife with both your gifts and your love!

I can hardly believe it, but this next year we will be celebrating 30 years together, if our Lord tarries His coming! Let's determine to be faithful until He does!

Please pray that God will bless this week as we desire to "make difference until Jesus comes again!"

See you on Sunday!

Thanksgiving Offering

We have a tradition at GPBC of collecting a special "Others" offering each Thanksgiving.

This year, we have designated the Thanksgiving Offering to help the ministries of two church planters in our area: Pastor Josh Thompson and the Pacific Baptist Church in McMinnville; and Pastor Larry McKinney and the Glendoveer Indian Baptist Church in Portland.

Please bring your Thanksgiving Offering wtih you this Sunday, or to our special Tuesday Thanksgiving Service on November 22.

We have so much to be thankful for, and this offering is a way we can say "thank you" to the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness to us this year.
