Coming to GPBC this Sunday!

As we prepare to celebrate the July 4th weekend this Sunday, Evangelist David Sommerdorf is coming to GPBC! He is a dear friend and has been mightily used of God in fulltime ministry and evangelism! He will be speaking in Sunday School at 9:45am; the Morning Service at 11am and the Evening Service at 6pm.
Having served as a pastor and assistant pastor, as well as a Christian school supervisor, he has a great appreciation for the local church and ministry of the pastor. Additionally, he realizes the invaluable asset good families are to the local church! He knows that today in America the home is under attack as never before. It is on this concern that he and his family answered God's call to the ministry of evangelism, with an emphasis upon the Christian Home, and the need to strengthen families in the local church.
A new tool to his ministry, meant to engage the unredeemed and open doors of opportunity to hear the gospel is The Marine Corps-Vette! It is a 1992 Corvette convertible, digitally wrapped to not only catch the public's attention, but to also honor our troops, memorialize the victims of September 11th, also reminding Americans of our Nation's Godly Heritage.

The Marine Corps-Vette will also be at the Wood Village Wal-Mart all day Saturday, July 2! Evangelist Sommerdorf and members of GPBC will be there to hand out gospel tracts and invitations to GPBC on Sunday! Please come by to visit them!
