Evangelism, noun, e·van·gel·ism, is defined as the communication of the gospel of Jesus Christ with the immediate intent of converting the hearer to a saving faith in Christ, and with the ultimate intent of instructing the new convert in the Word of God so that they can share their new-found faith with others.
Simply put, evangelism involves more than informing and imparting...it also involves inviting others to come to know Christ as personal Savior.
That is what every Christian has been commanded to do! Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8
That is what we want to do here at GPBC! That is why we have invited Evangelist David Wood to help us become Soul Winners for Jesus Christ!
Dr. Wood will be teaching The 21st Century Soul Winning Seminar on Saturday, March 26, from 9am to 11am! A free syllabus and refreshments will be available for all attendees. We will also have childcare from infants up to the 5th Grade.
