It is hard not to feel terrible and scared as we see all the images of the disaster in Japan. Below is a script to release some of the anxiety you might feel. When you feel good you are in a much better position to help others and make good choices. Even though I see so much suffering and I feel terrible about it, my pain will not help them, I choose to relax and send love and healing to those who are hurting
Even though the pictures in the news are so terrible and I feel afraid. It is okay to relax. I choose to know they are strong. I hold a space of love and compassion for them.
Even though I see so many people suffering, how can I feel good when so many are suffering? I choose to know my fear will not help them feel better. I can appreciate how safe I am right now and send them love and hope.
