     Oh No "I Overindulged

         at the Party".....

 

Sometimes we go to a party, get caught up in the holiday cheer and wind up drinking too much.  We wake up in the morning and feel terrible physically and mentally.  If you wind up overindulging during this holiday season, it happens, don't beat yourself up. Try some of these helpful hints to get back into balance quickly and easily. I have included a few natural easy solutions to get your body feeling better right away.  Also an EFT script on OVERINDULGING to help you release any upset feelings you might have for drinking a little too much. Tapping through this will quickly raising your vibration and bring you back to a more peaceful, easy feeling.

 

Natural Solutions for a Hangover

 

WATER  A hangover is caused primarily by dehydration .One of the best preventive measures is to drink 2-3 large glasses of water before you go to bed. If you wake up in the night drink another 2 glasses and then another 2 upon arising. Drinking alcohol is very dehydrating and hydrating your system helps counteract the effects of the alcohol.  

 

BANANAS help to get over a hang over. Make a banana shake with pineapple and coconut water The banana calms the stomach and builds up blood sugar levels with the help of the pineapple...the coconut water soothes and rehydrates.. Bananas are also rich in the important electrolytes, magnesium and potassium, which are depleted during overindulgence of alcohol.  Bananas contain three natural sugars, sucrose, fructose and glucose along with fiber. A banana thus gives an instant and substantial boost of energy to improve your mood immediately. No other fruit contains more digestible carbohydrates.  

 

B-VITAMINS Take the vitamins before you go to bed and let them work their magic while you sleep. If you forget, take them immediately upon arising. B-Vitamins are important in aiding the carbohydrate (alcohol) metabolizing process and in dilating blood vessels. B-vitamins will help restore your energy level. You will need to take a high-potency B-complex supplement for this remedy to work 50-75 mg of B-complex. Take before you go to bed, after indulging and then when you get up in the morning with your smoothie.

 

GINGER TEA will soothe your stomach and help the system digest the alcohol. 

 

VITAMIN C stimulates the liver to break down the alcohol. Start at 1,000 mg an hour until you get to 2,000-3,000 mg. Don't overdo it. An excess of vitamin C can cause diarrhea, and since you probably have stomach distress already too much C may cause a problem. 

 

 

CHIA SEEDS taken the morning before the party will keep you hydrated. With Chia you retain moisture and regulate the absorption of nutrients and body fluids thus maintaining the electrolyte balance. Also  Chia's hydrophilic colloid properties will coat your intestine to prevent acid stomach.  You can email me to get the full article on CHIA. I have chia seeds for breakfast every day and love the way it keeps my digestive system clean. 

 

GREEN LEMONADE will restore your body's natural alkaline balance and infuse your body with millions of enzymes. You will need a juicer to make this.  I recommend it highly as it is easily the most absorbable form of nutrition available on the planet today.  I drink it every day.

 

GINGER TEA

 

 

    2" raw ginger peeled and sliced

    2 cups water

    1 tsp Lemon juice (optional)

    1 TBS honey or agave nectar (optional)

 

Simmer the ginger in water for 10-14 minutes. The longer you simmer it the stronger it will be. Add lemon and sweetener if using. Strain and drink.

 

 

GREEN LEMONADE

1 head organic celery

4 stalks kale or ½ cucumber

1 apple

1 whole organic lemon

1" fresh ginger

 

Process in a juicer and enjoy.  The lemon cuts the grassy taste of the greens

Tapping for Overindulging

 

  

So many times we tell ourselves we are not going to eat too much or drink too much but we wind up doing it anyhow. When this happens we feel terrible.  How do we make this better? The following script EFT for OVERINDULGING will help you get back into balance quickly if you have overindulged.

 

Generally speaking most of the time if we overindulge we do so to make ourselves feel good. The truth is when we overindulge we feel terrible physically and mentally. EFT can help you release some of those negative feelings so you come back into balance and feel the peace and joy that is inside you. Once your release some of your negative feelings you will find yourself less likely to overindulge again. You can eat and drink without overdoing it.  Using EFT you acknowledging your negative feelings while tapping to release them. You then bring in a more positive thought to raise your vibration. This will help you to find your way to approving of yourself and let go of the disapproval which keeps the overindulging behavior you are trying to control stuck. As you know what resists persists. Letting go of disapproving of yourself for overindulging is the first step. Let's start!

Even though part of me is beating myself up for overindulging,I love and accept myself anyhow.

 

Even thoughI am upset with myself for overindulging and I feel it in my (body part you feel the upset) I choose to be kinder to myself, I want to love and accept myself.

  

Even though there is a part of me that says I can't love myself when I overindulge, I choose to forgive myself anyhow and know kindness is the way toward healing this.

 

 

 

Follow the initials where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. Check the chart if necesary.


EB I can't believe I overindulged

SE I feel so out of control

UE  It makes me feel so bad about myself

UN  I makes me feel upset in my (body part your feel the upset)

CHIN  I don't like myself when I do this

COLLARBONE  I judge myself and think I am bad

UA  I overindulged and I am so upset with myself

TOP OF HEAD I am afraid I have no control and it makes me feel bad
DEEP BREATH...

EB  What if I could just be easier on myself

SE  I choose to forgive myself

UE  That feels better than beating myself up

UN  I choose to love myself even if I overindulged

CHIN  I choose to be gentle with myself

COLLARBONE I like the way kindness feels in my body, I am beginning to relax

UA I am going to be a little easier on myself, a little kinder

TOP FO HEAD I choose to love myself no matter what I do. I deserve to be treated with love and patience, this is the way towards healing

Notice how you feel now, you should feel a little lighter a little more peaceful.  In a few minutes with this powerful technique of EFT TAPPING you have shifted your energy to feeling more kindness to yourself.
