About James Norwood Pratt
Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and brought up on land which has been in his family since before the American Revolution, James Norwood Pratt was educated at Chapel Hill and abroad. He published his first book on tea in 1982. He is the acknowledged instigator and prophet of the tea renaissance in America. In 2000 he introduced his NEW Tea Lover's Treasury. His landmark Tea Dictionary was named Best New Publication by the World Tea Expo in 2010.

Mr. Pratt, is Devan Shah, his long-time friend and fellow tea expert. Mr. Shah has played a decisive role in developing America's taste in tea. He has consistently created markets for tea where there were none. He is a major importer of teas from every producing country. |
