Legendary Ladies - Day into Night
Greetings!

We have an exciting weekend coming up November 19th! Our first annual Legendary Ladies - Day into Night event is being planned with our local businesses, and we know you will love it! Read on for all of the details.

Legendary Ladies

Legendary Ladies Logo

The Lake Mills Main Street Program presents a brand new annual event. Legendary Ladies - Day into Night - is a girlfriend's getaway and will take place the first Saturday of deer hunting season - November 19, 2011. Part of the larger A Charming Connection, Lake Mills joins other Southeast Wisconsin Main Street communities in presenting a fun, year-long shopping experience within different Main Street communities.

Great things are in store for anyone attending this event - and it truly does last from "day until night." Shops will open at 10am, and many will stay open into the evening, and beyond! Special pricing, presentations, demonstrations, refreshments and entertainment will punctuate this special day.

Over 20 businesses will be participating; each has selected a "legendary lady" to honor. You'll see how they commemorate their chosen legendary lady when you walk into each shop. Look for some wild creativity!

While anyone can shop Lake Mills that day, if you'd like to register for this event, you will receive a cute shopping bag, warm stretchy gloves, and a heart charm. The bag will be filled with coupons and other goodies. Registration is limited, and costs just $5. You can also register the day of the event, but since registration is limited, don't take a chance!

Registration will be held at City Hall from 10am - 1pm. Whether you are pre-registered or will register that day, please start your adventure at City Hall (200 Water Street) to pick up your Legendary Ladies bag of goodies.

A Legendary Poem - by Randy Otto

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
I would GO SHOPPING ALL DAY AND INTO THE NIGHT with my girlfriends while my man went deer hunting....or whatever men do on the 3rd Saturday of November...

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
My LEGENDARY girlfriends and I would shop in that CHARMING little town of Lake Mills...you know...the one with all those quaint shops and Norman Rockwell park on the square in the middle of town? Ooh!!!

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
Us LEGENDARY LADIES would shop where we would receive a cute reusable bag filled with exquisite coupons and other goodies. How DO they do it?

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
Did you know that 20 businesses have each selected a LEGENDARY LADY to honor? We will be agog, simply agog!

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
WE LADIES can learn to stencil, buy pearls, tie scarves, make holiday table arrangements, make our own earrings...there will be just oodles of EVENTS & ACTIVITIES. Why? Because we deserve it! Right girls?

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
An author: (LEGENDARY LADY - MARGOT PETERS) would read to us from her latest book while we sip tea and nibble on chocolates. Sublime. Simply sublime.

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
Yummy food & drink from Godiva chocolate martinis to decadent desserts will be sipped & nibbled...and WE LEGENDARY LADIES will most certainly frequent the new Lewis Station Winery for WINE SAMPLING all day and into the night. Divine decadence will abound.

If I were a LEGENDARY LADY...
WE would enter for a FREE MAKEOVER & PORTRAIT COMBO at Denny's Hair Styling or Eli Wedel Photography. WE LADIES like that word FREE!

But...I am NOT a LEGENDARY LADY

I am just.......A LEGENDARY GUY...
So if you are A LEGENDARY GUY and you are reading this, make some big time brownie points and pass this information along to your LEGENDAY LADY.

Then plan your RELAXING LEGENDARY GUY DAY hunting, watching the Badgers crush Illinois, or maybe just puttering in your shop or man cave.

Now, what flavor of Tyranena Beer should this LEGENDARY GUY pick up???
