News from the WISCONSIN UNION THEATER

 Greetings!

We are delighted and pleased to host two fantastic blogs on our website. Jacob Stockinger's classical music blog, The Well-Tempered Ear, has had more than 264,000 hits so far and it boasts readers and subscribers from all over the USA and the world - the four latest subscribers are from Madison, South Africa, New Zealand and Italy. Susan Kepecs' more recently launched Cultural Oyster keeps gaining readers who are interested in knowledgeable, opinionated, in-depth writing about world music, jazz and dance.

In this newsletter, we offer articles by both of these well-informed veteran critics. Read Stockinger's interview with Caroline Goulding, who will be performing in the theater on Thursday and Saturday. Kepecs interviewed  Savion Glover and also included a piece she wrote about him in 2008.

I hope you enjoy these and the rest of this newsletter. And I hope to see you enjoying these magnificent artists. See you in the theater!
