Where do I begin?

You received a marriage proposal and an engagement ring for Christmas.  Congratulations! You have a wedding to plan - the most important event of your life!  Now what do you do?
Where do you begin?

You've been dreaming of your wedding day since you were a little girl.  When you pictured your fairy-tale wedding, were you standing under the shade of an oak tree, or standing under the stars with the moon shining overhead?  Finding and securing the venue for your wedding and reception is the first decision you should make in your planning, as many of your other choices for wedding services will depend on your venue.

The DJ Difference...Should I hire a professional?

Planning your dream wedding is something you have looked forward to for as long as you can remember.  So many things to consider; so many things to choose from; so much money to spend!  It's really getting expensive...how can I cut costs?

Oh, I know - my neighbor's son's grandchild has a friend who said he can DJ.  Maybe I could cut costs there.  Is there really a difference in DJ's?

The right music affects the pace and flow of your wedding reception.  The Caldwell House has several DJ's on our Preferred Vendor's List.  Read why a professional DJ makes a critical difference.

Historical Fact
about
The Caldwell House

Various original features of the home still exist today, namely, hardwood floors, pressed tile ceilings, pocket doors in the parlor and dining room, beadboard ceilings and wainscoting, and transoms above the doors.  Originally, there were a few fireplaces throughout the home, however, at some point in the past they were truncated at the roofline.
