Thank you all to your many donations and support in benefiting the Center for Women and Families of Bridgeport.  If you have a large furniture item you would like to donate (bedroom sets, couches, dining room tables, etc.) please email
Lauren Baggott to schedule a pickup time. Thank you in advance for your support!

Greetings!

We hope everyone has survived the mountains of snow!

As a reminder, WPS follows Norwalk Public Schools' decisions regarding delays, early dismissals and school closings.  In order to ensure you are up-to-date with information we recommend signing up for text message alerts via "ctweather.com". This will allow you to receive a message instantly on your phone when Norwalk makes a decision regarding inclement weather.  Please refer to the Download Center to the left to obtain instructions on how to sign up.

Norwalk Police Department's K-9 Unit will be utilizing our gym during winter months to train their doggies. Please do not be concerned if you see their vehicles on our campus. Students will be provided another K-9 presentation this spring.

Scott sent an today email with details about his upcoming presentation on January 26th (details below). He looks forward to everyone's attendance as community feedback is essential at this time.

We'd like to thank our parents again for our weekly fruit basket deliveries. We appreciate your generosity and look forward to eating healthier!

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Have a great weekend!

Movie Screening

 Fly Away

http://www.flyawaymovie.com/

For families who are touched by autism...

Fly Away tells the story of one family as their autistic daughter transitions into young adulthood. Aside from the personal story, Fly Away begs the greater dialogue about what our society as a whole will do as this generation of children with autism grows into a generation of adults with autism.

The film was written, directed and produced by award-winning film

industry veteran Janet Grillo, the executive producer of Autism the

Musical.  Janet is seeking a small amount of additional funding to

support the marketing of the film - through corporate grants,

individual investments, or tax-deductible donations.

If you or someone you know would like to find out more, Janet will be

hosting a private screening at a home in Westchester this Sunday

evening, January 16. Please email Jennie Baird at jenniebaird@gmail.com for more information or a formal  invitation.
