Winter weather is approaching and as a reminder please follow Norwalk Public School decisions regarding early dismissals, delays, and closings. However, due to variability in conditions based upon location, please make individual decisions regarding your child's attendance and dismissal time.

Poinsettia Sale!
The Garden Club will be selling poinsettias for $5 on Thursday, December 16th during lunch. All proceeds will benefit gardening supplies and equipment.

Students are to remain until 10:15 am, however they may take as much time as desired to complete exams. We ask families, especially those with busing schedules, to plan accordingly and make arrangements where required.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during our server shortages this week. The problem has been fixed and we are now able to communicate with the outside world. :)
We would like to thank those families that visited the Agabhumi store in Westport last night and supported the WPPA. 20% of your purchases will go towards our upcoming student and parent events! Thank you!
We are looking forward to our Career Speakers next week! On Tuesday, December 14th, a surprise guest will meet with students at 1:15 pm. On Wednesday, December 15th Dr. Decker will visit with students at 11:45 am and share his career as a neurologist. We hope your child has enjoyed our Career Speakers series and hope this has increased their awareness towards various career possibilities.

Student Holiday Party

Winter break is approaching and why not celebrate?! Students will kick off the season with a holiday movie, cocoa and popcorn, and sports in the gym with Coach G and faculty. We hope all students can attend!

'Helping Hands' Community Service December Events
Safe Home, Warm Clothes Drive, and Notre Dame Convalescent Home
Donation drop-off for the Safe Home and Warm Clothes Drive has begun and will run until Tuesday, December 21st.
Our 'Safe Home' School - Wide Project will benefit the Center for Women and Families of Bridgeport! Community Service students toured the 3 family home in Bridgeport on Wednesday, December 8th and learned about how this home will be a 'safe place' for the Women and Families of Bridgeport. We have already received many donations and are looking forward to what is to come!
Donations have been organized by classes: Delta/Eta: Kitchen Items Gamma/Sigma: Bedroom Items Omega/Zeta: Bathroom Items Kappa/Pi: Living Room Items
'Helping Hands' continues to visit the Notre Dame Convalescent Home in Norwalk every Monday afternoon. Students have been working on a 'December collage' with the residents including pictures of holiday wreaths, creative snowflakes, and colorful drawings about their favorite memories from December. There will be an upcoming visit including caroling and a drop off of holiday cards created by 'Helping Hands' members. |
