Dear Friends,
As the Day of Gratitude approaches, I am especially thankful for you -- for your support of CooperRiis and your ties to our community. We feel lucky to share the mission of our work with so many dedicated and compassionate individuals. You may be a parent, a social worker, an educational consultant, an advocate, a psychiatrist, a friend, a doctor, or a former resident. To us, you are forever a part of our extended family.
I am especially grateful for the residents that make our community home - your sons and daughters, clients and former patients, friends and colleagues. Their stay with us may be for only a few months or a year, but their courage and inspiring growth become a part of our community history. Allow me to share a few of their stories with you this afternoon. Please take a moment to read the four paragraphs about Mary, Sally, James, and Todd by clicking on the following link. A separate document will open:
When you are done reading, pause for a moment and realize that you played a part in helping these individuals rebuild their lives. Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
