NJTEEA invites you to learn how you can incorporate geocaching into your STEM or Technology Education classroom!

 

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online this class will serve as an introduction to the basics of Geocaching. We will cover what it is, how it works and it's applications to teaching. We will also go over equipment and basic rules of the game. If time and equipment allows, we may "search for" a couple caches.
