Excellence Awards for the Teacher, Program, College Student, or Administrator
Anderson
Each year the New Jersey Technology & Engineering Educators Association recognizes outstanding programs, teachers and administrators in the field of Technology Education.

If you know someone who you feel is an outstanding teacher, runs an outstanding program, or is an outstanding supervisor/administrator please fill out the nomination form.

The nominee must be a registered NJTEEA member.   The winner in each category will be honored at our annual state conference this year and will also be our association's choice to receive international recognition at the International Technology and Engineering Education Association award ceremony.

Outstanding people in the field of Technology Education should be recognized and this is your chance to do that.

You can find all related forms and information HERE.

NJTEEA Image Award
This award honors individuals within the membership of NJTEEA that make a special effort that results in positive reflection of Technology Education outside of the profession.

Whether it be through a single act or concentrated effort over a period of time, these individuals are worthy of recognition as exceptional educators that realize that leadership and advocacy is needed for the profession beyond the walls of their classroom.

These individuals' actions have had a positive impact on the image of the Technology Education profession in New Jersey by helping to spread the word about the benefits of technological literacy for all students.

All you need to do is submit documentation of your accomplishment to NJTEEA.  Documentation can include press related materials or documentation of a special event that you may have coordinated within your school (tech night, parent contests etc).

You can find more information HERE.
NJTEEA Impact Award
This award honors exceptional supporters of Technology Education in New Jersey in three categories: Individual, Institutional, and Government Official.

Recipients have made a notable impact through their virtuous support for students and/or educators in technology education.

Honorees generally, though not always, come from outside of the immediate profession of technology education and have a proven track record of advocating the benefits of technological literacy for all students in New Jersey schools.

If you have received exceptional support from someone outside the profession, nominate them for the Impact Award.

NJTEEA Teacher Inspiration Award
The Teacher Inspiration Award is presented to a middle or high school Technology Education Teacher each year who has inspired a student's interest in the areas of design, technology, or engineering.

In order to receive this honor, a teacher must be nominated by one of their students. In general, teachers seek no recognition but simply do the job for the love of the students and the profession. Consider your Technology Education teacher for such an honor. This award could be the highlight of his or her career!

Students can nominate their teachers HERE.
