UIM Examples!
It is well known that the ministries of UIM International stretch across North America from British Columbia, Canada, to Quebec, across the United States, and from northern to southern Mexico. Indigenous churches are being established, and we engage in evangelism and discipleship efforts, camping ministries, Bible institutes and discipleship centers, Theological Education by Extension (TEE), and more.
UIM is also known for supporting all these efforts as it incorporates a strategic aviation ministry and support ministries of automobile services, printing, mailing, and financial accountability--all with the highest standards.
A little known ministry in UIM International is the heart ministry of Bill and Janice Hurlbert, which takes place at UIM's Glendale, Arizona, facilities. Daily, one will find Bill diligently and faithfully caring for the many property and grounds needs: watering, cutting, trimming, cleaning, maintaining, etc. Daily, following our staff prayer time, he and Janice faithfully assemble the receipt letters for mailing. UIM is grateful for every donation, and we strive for a quick 24-hour turn-around on every donation.
There is also a very special day at UIM each week. Tuesday is Kids' Club day. Bill and Janice, along with members from their local church and Julie Fredericks, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the multicultural mix of children that live in the apartment and trailer court complexes that surround UIM's Glendale property.
We praise the Lord for Bill and Janice, and we want you to praise the Lord for them too! They ask for nothing, but give of themselves abundantly. On November 7, Bill and Janice, their son Steve and daughter-in-law Robin along with some of the UIM Glendale staff, celebrated 60 years of faithfulness to one another. Praise the Lord for Bill and Janice Hurlbert! They are examples of UIM International--people who know and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ and unselfishly share His Good News with others!
