Issue: # 26June 28, 2010
Greetings from your NOVA President,
Busy Tuesday night this week.  Bring your old running shoes to the track for our shoe collection to support A-SPAN.  A-SPAN provides life-sustaining services for Arlington's street homeless.  Check out their web site:  http://www.a-span.org/

Also, it's "Farewell to Shane and Kathy Night" after track.  Please join the gang at The Pizziolo Café after our workout to say good-bye to two of NOVA's most spirited members.  Make sure you stay on their good side, and they might be able to find a place for you in Hawaii!

A new member Happy Hour will be held at the Cap City Brewery on July 9th at 5 PM.  Look for me and Amanda.  First drinks for new members are on the house!

Coach Jerry's Workout
Gang, remember to mark your calender for the Rockville Twilight 8k on July 17.  The legendary NOVA Racing Team will be in action and you're all invited to join the fun.  All you need to do is register for the race, and let Dan and I know that you'll be running as far in advance as possible, but definitely no less than a week before, so that we can include you on the official roster.

The workout tomorrow will be 4 x 800, 4 x 400, all with a 400 jog.  As always, if you have any questions, give me a shout.  See you out there tomorrow.

Coach Jerry
