The staffing industry is considered a bell weather of the economic and employment landscape, and changes in our industry are often seen before changes in overall employment. At Redfish Technology, both our High Tech team and our specialized Greenfish division focusing on renewables and alternate energy we are experiencing growth as a specialized placement firm, and we are seeing it in the hiring practices of our clients. |

High Tech sectors expect excellent job growth. Computer Network, Systems, and Database Administrators is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations, by 30% from 2008 to 2018. Computer networks are integral to most businesses, so demand for these skills will increase as companies continue to invest in new technologies. Continued penetration of mobile technologies means that the number of firms using the Internet to conduct business online will grow and this growth creates a need for systems administrators. Additional growth will be driven by the increasing need for information security and communications with employees, clients, customers, suppliers. Employment of network systems and data communications analysts is projected to increase by 53% from 2008 to 2018. (Statistics the Bureau of Labor Statistics.)
