2010 Corporate Goals Update
July 23, 2010

Dear ChiroCare Provider:
In my last quarterly letter, I highlighted several 2010 corporate goals that had been developed based on provider feedback obtained by ChiroCare. To demonstrate our commitment to you--through the successful achievement of these important goals--I'm sharing a summarized list of recent activities designed to help ChiroCare accomplish them and improve our value to you: 
 
Use administrative savings to directly benefit our providers  
·   Renegotiated ChiroCare's administrative rates with Landmark for 2010
·   Distributed a provider bonus payment to all Category  A providers (as of 1/1/10)
·   Contracted with Catchfire to develop a marketing strategy specifically to benefit ChiroCare providers, including development of tools focused on increasing patient traffic through your door
·   Coordination of a free Business Development Seminar designed specifically for ChiroCare providers
Improve provider satisfaction in clinical and operational areas
·   Initial development of a revised provider tiering process (details to be communicated at the end of this month)
·   Implementation of a toll-free phone number for the Clinical Hotline
·   Publication of provider service statistics in the monthly provider newsletter 
 
Increase ChiroCare's strength and stability through thorough review and/or development of sound business strategies for budgets, provider compensation, communications, reports, policies and procedures

·   Finalization of a 2010 budget with defined figures for each committee
·   Creation of a Compensation Committee to review and address staff compensation issues
·   Creation of several new ChiroCare policies related to credentialing, UM and handling of patient billing issues (publication of these policies is in process)
 
Adjust the Board committee structure to address the current and prospective health care environment
·   Creation of a Data Committee which is charged with implementing strategies to build proof of the value in ChiroCare and chiropractic services
·   Creation of a Compensation Committee to review and address staff compensation issues
 
We are excited about how our achievement of these, and other goals we are working on, positively affect you and your office.
 
We hope you will join us at our (free) Business Development Seminar this fall to learn how our most recent efforts can be used to help you market the quality services you provide. In addition, you will gain a better understanding of recently passed legislation and learn what its impact will be from local and national health care experts.
