From The Desk Of Nicholas F. Testa...
Greetings!
It seems like just yesterday we opened our doors for the first time. It is hard to believe we've been here for 4 decades! Despite how the business has grown over the years one thing remains the same. No matter how many customers we've served over the years we are as grateful for our most recent customer as we are for our first customer. Fast, courteous, efficient service has been the hallmark of our company for 40 years. While of course we have changed with the times to remain on the cutting edge with equipment, training and the like, we pride ourselves on the cornerstone of being trustworthy, friendly, and cost effective.
I am very excited to be celebrating our 40th Anniversary at the upcoming US Diesel Truck Nationals on September 15, 2012. While I have had some trucks attend this premier show in the past, it is a first for us to have an all out vendor display. I hope you'll take the day to celebrate all things "big rig" and while you are there stop over to our booth in the Vendor Corral to say hello.
Sincerely,
Nick Testa
President

National Blood Cancer Awareness Month |
September 2012, is National Blood Cancer Awareness Month
This is something near and dear to our hearts. Nick's 40 year old son-in-law is a leukemia survivor.
This is the opportunity for the LLS to increase the understanding of blood cancers and encourage people to support the funding of the research that is making a real impact.
The critical information we've learned since LLS started in 1949 has brought us to that moment in time where countless lives are being saved. And today, with each life saved comes more learning, bringing us to the edge of cures, now.
To support LLS during Blood Cancer Awareness Month, "like" the LLS on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. Thank you.

Focus On Recovery
|
This new Infinity lost control and went off a highway ramp, over the guard rail into the woods recently. Not an easy recovery by any standard but we were up for the challenge. We wanted to make every effort to keep the roadway open while completing our task. Utilization of the rotator tow truck allowed that to happen.
First we prepped the vehicle with our recovery straps. Next we utilized our spreader bar attachment to keep the car stabilized as we lifted it up and out of the brush and back over the guard rail. The car was carefully swung around the truck and set onto a flatbed that was waiting. This process was a one lane recovery except for the few moments it took to bring the car fully around and onto the flatbed. Incident management at its best! Great job guys.

Nick's Towing Service In The News
|
Last month we towed a vehicle that was involved in a bank robbery in Morris County. The suspect fled and was apprehended by the Secaucus Police. The car was impounded and we were called to do what we do best! The picture above and the article in the link were printed in NJ.com.

Did You Know?
| We buy only Miller Industries trucks. They are the world's largest manufacturer of towing and recovery equipment. When it comes to our trucks we buy the best. We want you, our customer, to feel confident that the trucks and equipment we purchase from Miller Industries, and put on the road to service your vehicles, is the cream of the crop. |
Billy's Blog |
As I was snoozing in the sun after a delicious meal the other day it dawned on me. I should do something nice for Nick since he did save me out of that car he towed in. Plus my loyal followers on the internet might have an interest in my report of the friendly, professional tower who transported me from Staten Island, NY to Rutherford, NJ. After all I do have excellent taste and am authority on so many things. People out there need to be "in the know" and who better to advise them than me?
So I jumped up on the chair and sat at the computer to write my Google review. How perturbed was I that Google does not accept feline reviews! So if there are any humans out there who wish to write a positive Google review for Nick's here are the steps to do it (just click on the link below). I'm sure they would be very appreciative of your efforts. I on the other hand am heading to take another nap.
