Winter Service Tip
Give your battery a little TLC.
This is an ideal time of year to make sure your battery's posts and connections are corrosion-free. If your battery is more than three years old, have a tech test its ability to hold a charge when you're in for service. Granted, you might be able to find a Good Samaritan to help you jump-start your vehicle in the middle of a blizzard - but wouldn't you rather avoid such a scenario altogether? If you test your battery and it comes up low, don't wait, get it replaced.

Not Just Towing!
Our days are not always filled with towing cars and trucks. Pictured below is a loaded shipping container that fell. We were called into lift the dropped trailer and pull it out so that a tractor could back under it.

Tanker Trouble - Brooklyn, NY
This tanker was a victim of a stolen recovery. The thieves stole the vegetable oil from the tanker and refilled it with waste. They then dumped the trailer on a Brooklyn street right into a pole and took off. We were called in to lift the trailer up and away from the pole to allow another cab to get under it to hook up.

Concrete CalamityThis driver had a bad day recently when he lost his brakes while driving a loaded cement mixer. A light pole was taken down and unfortunately the truck sustained major damage. The transmission and front axle were completely knocked out and the engine was pushed back. Thankfully no one was hurt. O  ur mechanics and drivers were on the scene to get this truck off the road and back to their facility in record time. Great job guys!
